Hello! My name is Michelle and I’m a mixed-methods user researcher with over thirteen years of experience in enterprise software, consumer apps, and automotive design. I am passionate about creating user-centered designs that provide more efficient and pain-free experiences.
I graduated from Tufts in 2009 with a degree in mechanical engineering. It was there that I first dabbled in human factors and user experience. Afterward I went on to work at Honda, designing and testing user interfaces for the center console and dashboard. In 2011 I returned to school to pursue a degree in product design from Stanford. Since graduation, I went into software design and development working for Apttus, DocuSign, Turo, Tableau, Salesforce, and Instagram.
I currently live in Seattle with my partner and two cats. Outside of work you can find me lifting weights, trying a new restaurant, or knitting with a cat on my lap. Unfortunately the puppy in the photo is not mine, but I’m happy to talk about animals with you anytime!
